Thursday...

On Thursday I will be watching Autumn and Aislinn as well as making 100 rice krispy treats for the youth lock in. If anyone is bored, feel free to come join the festivities!!! It should be an interesting day!

I have been able to watch Aislinn a few times this week and have LOVED spending so much time with her. I picked her up so my sister and my mom could go see The Color Purple. I also picked her up from daycare early one day. She's growing and changing so much!! Here are a couple videos of her. She's really not doing much in them, but I know that there are a few of you out there who don't get to see her much, so I thought you'd appreciate seeing her. In one, I just posted it because she has a cute smile at the beginning. The other video is her cooing and making cute noises. :) Enjoy!

I finally got a confirmation email!! My shoes have been shipped and they should be here Monday! Woo-hoo! I can't wait!

Uhhhhh...

I have a bad feeling. I still haven't gotten a confirmation email that they have the shoes I ordered or that they have shipped. I'm going to be really sad if they don't have them. Hopefully I'll hear soon. Until then, flip flops it is. Which isn't really so bad. I prefer flip flops when at all possible. I wore them today actually. Unless it's snowing or sleeting or below 40 and raining, I wear flip flops. I just can't stand the feeling of my feet being all confined and hot. Drives me crazy. I buy one new black pair of $2.50 flips flops at Old Navy each spring. I wear them all year long. When it comes time for my new pair, the old ones are brilliantly shaped to the exact mold of my foot. I love it!

So anyone who knows me well, knows that I do not like trying new restaurants.  I prefer to just go the same ones I've been to a thousand times and order the same thing I've eaten a thousand times before.  However, last Friday night, Jeff and I went to try a new restaurant.  We went to Cowboy Sharkies because it is right near our house.  I hadn't been there to eat, so I didn't know what to expect.  We went on a Friday evening and the restaurant side was not very busy. 

Our server told us about the special, the shark.  Really? Real shark?  She told us that it is overnighted and fresh from the ocean the previous day.  So Jeff decided to try it.  I went safe and had him add a side of king crab for me.  We also split an appetizer of assorted fried items with a side of ranch.  Yummm...  Can't beat that.  So anyways, the crab was wonderful and Jeff liked his shark.

The food was great.  However, I was sort of confused.  The waitresses were also serving people in the bar area and were dressed casual, with spaghetti string shirts.  The place was casual.  But the menu offered several pricey selections.  It was sort of a strange mix.  But it was fun and I'm glad we tried it.

So I ordered my shoes, then I got an email saying that they are currently reorganizing their warehouse, or something, and that they aren't shipping out ANY items for another week!  And then, it will take 7-10 days to ship it here.  Boo.

I think I found some!!!

So I've been looking for some new cute tennis shoes.  I haven't really found any I like until today.  We were at Academy Sports and I found a pair of Puma's I LOVED.  Of course, they didn't have my size.  So we checked the other Academy in Tulsa, and no luck.  So we went to Famous Footwear, DSW Shoes, Footlocker, The Finish Line, and every other shoe store around 71st and Memorial with no luck.  So I decided to come home and just order them online.  So I went to Puma's website and they did not have them!!!  They had the same shoe, but not in the pink and brown.  I was so upset.  So I began searching all the stores websites to see if I could find some.  After much searching, I finally found a pair at Journeys.  I ordered them online and hopefully will see them being delivered soon.  I'm anxiously awaiting a confirmation email to make sure they are in stock.  Cross your fingers!!
